Happy Father's Day!

I cannot let this day pass without wishing the wonderful fathers in my life a very happy Father's Day!

Kris, I am so grateful to you for all you do for me and our family. I don't know how you manage to do all that you do (and do it all so well!) and still have time for us and make us feel so loved and taken care of. You are such an incredible example to me. You make me want to be better. You are so much more than just my husband, you are my best friend and eternal companion and I love you more each day. I cannot believe it has been almost six years since we started this journey together! In a way, so much has changed, and yet nothing really has. I love to watch you with our little huckleberries and see how much they adore you and you, them; I love to watch you work; I love to see the love and respect you show to those around you and to see that returned to you because of who you are. Thank you for loving me and our children. Happy Father's Day!

Dad, thank you for being such an incredible dad. I love all the fun things we have in common that we can talk about (airplanes, thrill rides, maybe someday we'll take that trip out to Ohio...)
I feel so grateful that I can also call you my friend. You make me laugh, and I love that. Thanks for showing me what to look for and find in a husband. Happy Father's Day!
