Can't catch a break!

Kris has certainly had a rough go of it lately! On July 20, he was in a car/scooter (he was the scooter!) accident. He broke his left elbow and had numerous "road burn" abrasions on his face, arms and leg. We are so grateful he was wearing a helmet!!! It literally saved his life! Things could have been so much worse. A week later, they found (another) blood clot in his right arm. Thankfully, it is only a superficial clot from the IV he got at the hospital the week before. The next week, he had a massive abscess on his tooth and had to go have that tooth pulled! Yesterday, they found two more blood clots--in his left arm this time! Again, these two new ones are superficial, but one of them is very close to a deep vein, so they are watching it closely. Fingers crossed that nothing else happens!
