On Wednesday, the kids and I joined Mimi, Kelsey, Maddie and Ethan for a fun day at the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point. It was the museum's birthday and they were throwing a party! We had a blast! In addition to the regular fun, the kids got to decorate birthday hats (embellished with dinosaur cutouts, of course!), get their faces painted, go "fly fishing" for candy, and get dinosaur balloons! What fun! Thursday was "Members Stay Late" night at the zoo. I tell ya, the evening is when you want to head up to see the big cats! The Lynx was rather irratated that people were still there and kept pacing. The tiger was beautiful and wide awake, even drinking from the misters in his enclosure before lying down. He kept yawning and grunting--what a cool and unique sound! Kennedy and Matthew were thrilled! The animals were beautiful! We always enjoy the zoo!
