Happy Valentine's Day!

Okay, so it's five days late.  So what?  : )  In the midst of the sick-fest at our house, Valentine's day came!  Thankfully, everyone was feeling pretty good that day!  I love the opportunity to focus on loved ones!  We certainly don't use it as the only day to express our love, but it's sure fun having a day completely dedicated it!  Kennedy and Matthew enjoyed a Valentine's party at school and thought exchanging Valentine's with their friends there was the greatest fun!  (Candy!)  They also helped make and decorate sugar cookies for their party and loved that, as well!  It was our stake conference weekend, too, so all 3 kids got to spend friday afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa while Kris and I were able to attend the temple (LOVE the remodel!  It's gorgeous!).  Of course, they had a blast!  Saturday was spent with Mimi and Papa so we could go to dinner and the adult session.  Loved it there, too!  Thanks to the wonderful grandparents for watching the kids so we could do these things!  These kiddos sure love you all!  Thanks for the candy, too--you know they loved that! : )  We topped off the day with pink waffles cut in the shape of a heart topped
with red raspberry jam and bacon!  (Okay, so maybe not very heart-healthy, but it did our hearts good!)

I love this beautiful family and am so grateful for each member of it, as well as all the extended family that provide such a strong support to us!  Most of all, I love my sweet husband--my best friend.  I love you more each day!  Here's to many more Valentine's days and, even better, eternity!
