That's right! We have been illness free for a week or so! (I was afraid if I posted earlier, I'd jinx it!) Now if I can just get this house in order... It was so nice to finally be back at church after a 3 week hiatus! Hopefully, everyone will stay healthy, 'cause spring is almost here and we could sure use some outdoor activity time!
This past week we got the results of Kris' follow-up CT scan. The clot is 90% gone! Yay! We also learned how big the clot had actually been in the first place. It had completely filled 2 of the 3 sinuses in the back of his head and partially filled the 3rd as well all the connecting veins and was starting to fill the draining vein (the one that leads directly to his heart.) I think I'm glad I didn't know how bad it actually was at the time! No wonder it would have killed him! Thank heaven for the tender mercies of the Lord! We have been incredibly blessed! They are still going to watch him, and there are a few questions about why it happened in the first place that they are running tests to try and determine, but we are grateful for this significant good news! Hopefully, we find the other answers we're looking for and we can move on from there!

I'm glad you are all better. Being sick is no fun. No fun at all. That's a pretty big clot. I hope they figure out what happened. Scary!
