Happy 1st birthday, Joshua!

Today is our sweet baby Joshua's birthday!  We cannot believe he is already a year old!  He is such a wonderful baby, so easy-going and happy.  We feel incredibly blessed that he is a part of our family!  It is hard to believe how far he has come from what was a year ago, today.  Not only did he live, he is perfectly healthy, with no long-term side effects from the numerous diseases he battled in the first two weeks of his life.  Just a few things we love about this boy:
1 - He is such a happy boy!  He always has a smile for everyone (he's a bit of a flirt!). 
2 - He loves his big brother and sister so much!  (And they love him!)  Nobody can make Joshua laugh like Matthew, and especially Kennedy, can.  His full out giggle is ADORABLE!
3 - He loves his mommy!  Okay, so sometimes, I admit, it's a bit of a pain, but most of the time, I relish it!  It is so fun to watch him light up and crawl across the room for me!  He gives daddy the same response when he gets home from school or work each day, too!
4 - He gives the best hugs (he even pats our backs!) and kisses!
5 - When he kneels down to play.  It is the cutest thing!
6 - He loves to throw balls!  In fact, it's one of the two words he says, the other, of course, being "ma!" : )
7 - He is an excellent Godzilla!  Much to Kennedy and Matthew's dismay!  He can destroy a train track, and block towers faster than anything!
8 - He loves to wake up Matthew and Kennedy, crawling to their bedsides and banging on them while yelling!
9 - He knows what he wants!  If you are not in compliance, you will know it--trust me!
10 - His own unique, "Uhhhhh!" to say hello, good-bye, I want that, give it to me now...
Happy birthday, to our beautiful baby!  We are so grateful you are in our family!
