| After rearranging all the DVDs into "kids movies" and "mom and dads movies" piles. Not quite as efficient as the alphabetical system I use (and have since reinstated!), but he's so proud of himself! I really did let it stay for a few days, by the way! : ) |

Yesterday our Matthew turned 4!!! I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone! He is such a complete joy and we are so grateful he is a part of our family! We are so often amazed at the abilities and mind this kid has--he is remarkable! It is funny how sweet and cuddly he can be one minute and how stubborn and obstinate he can be the next! But that's our Matthew! And he's just about one of the cutest little guys (okay, he's already bigger than Kennedy and, for him, turning 4 has totally changed his world--he is so BIG and can do ANYTHING!) with the sweetest little dimple, greatest smile and perfect laugh (our Mr. GQ!) ! And even when he looks at you with that mischievous twinkle in his eye, you can't help but smile! Oh, how we love him and can't wait to see what great things he will do in his life! Happy birthday, big guy! Enjoy being 4! : )
